Fashion awards celebrates 'Re-united Colors of India'

Marie Claire, the premium international fashion magazine celebrates two fabulous years in India. Two years of furious fun & funky fashion, the celebrations only get bigger as they blow out the birthday candles at Olive Bar & Kitchen over a bespoke soirée.

This year, Marie Claire India celebrates "Re-united colors of India" the theme of the second anniversary issue. To mark the occasion, Marie Claire India announces the first edition of its fashion awards, called ‘Made in India’, which would be held in October 2008.

With the beginning of year three, Marie Claire India announces the first edition of its fashion awards MADE IN INDIA 2008.

Based on the international "Prix d'Excellence de la mode” awards given by Marie Claire France, the Indian edition has given the concept a unique Indian stamp.

The first ever such awards to be instituted by a fashion magazine here, Made in India will be for excellence in Indian fashion open only to Indian designers.

The 2008 edition of the awards will review the F/W collections presented in the two fashion weeks in Delhi and Mumbai.
