Pria receives DHL Fashion Track’s Most Popular Designer award

DHL, the world leader in express and logistics and one of the sponsors for Lakme Fashion Week 2008, has announced the winner of the first-of-its-kind initiative – DHL Fashion Track alongside Mumbai's week long fashion extravaganza.

The talented Pria Kataria Puri who showcased her eclectic collection on Sunday has been voted the winner by the audience and our panel of fashion experts.

Pria Kataria Puri's show which saw models sashay down the runway in short sequined dresses, in white, gold and silver with balloon and bubble hems and saris with red embroidery has won the contest with a landslide of votes.

The collection, an eclectic mix of lehangas, saris and dresses was very well received by the audience and received high marks for its likeability, uniqueness and practicality scoring 84%, 89% and 86% for the three criteria, respectively.
